Milt has been called the Judge by the hundreds of great jazz musicians he has played with since
the early 30s. In the early years he worked with Body Atkins, Erskine Tate,
Zutty Singleton and Eddie South.
In 1936 he got involved in Cab Calloway' s band.
He has recorded with Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Branford Marsalis, Lionel Hampton, Jimmy Rushing and many others. He is also a famous photographer, who pictures were featured in the film "A Great Day in Harlem." |
