Dixieland

Pee Wee played piano and violin before the clarinet. In the 20s and 30s he played with many of the most popular bands on both coasts. In 1963 he started an innovative group with trombone player Marshall Brown, which played compositions of contemporary players, like John Coltrane and Ornette Coleman.
